It's been 20 Years since Crystal started performing for the Canadian public. Having lived in various towns and cities across the country, the one thing that was consistent in this ex-military wife's life was sharing her talents with a variety of audiences and venues. From the early days out of high school, to university days and parenting, Crystal continued to put her musical talents to work. Musical gypsying is not all it's cracked up to be, so in 2002 Crystal stopped traveling and started teaching, now offering to families, the opportunity to make music an everyday part of their child's life.
Crystal started teaching children when she was a child herself. Since mothering four musical children of her own, and offering Kindermusik classes to children from birth to age seven, she is now offering the age group between elementary school age and junior high, the opportunity to develop their voice, learn to perform and play the tin whistle or recorder, as well as the ukulele (you have to accompany your voice somehow). It's a nice way to broaden your child's music scope and open other opportunities for them in their school life.
This class will help your child increase their listening skills, sound discrimination, reading (language and music ), work on relaxing and breathing techniques, and incorporating instrument play into their weekly routines.
